The history of Virtual Reality and its evolution as a therapeutic device: This will cover all historical aspects of the technology and how it has been applied in a variety of disciplines. The concepts of mind body influence and, presence will be discussed.
Virtual Reality as a therapeutic tool: This section will cover the developments of VR technologies in medicine and mental health.
How to deliver a hypnotic session using virtual reality: This will cover familiarizing the client with the tools. The VR pre-induction talk, the induction process, deepening techniques, and post hypnotic suggestions.
Best practices: This section will cover content usage and development. How to repurpose existing content for OCD, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, and Anxiety. It will also cover distraction therapy and VR pain management (analgesia).
Working with children: This section will address working with children in Virtual Reality and the principles of gamification.
