The Virtual Reality Hypnotherapy Certification Course offered by Flowlab provides a comprehensive understanding of the tools, processes and techniques that are necessary to fully integrate Virtual reality technologies into your current practice. Whether you are a psychologist, psychiatrist, hypnotherapist, or alternative practitioner, the principles in this course can create superior added value to your practice and for your clients. The course will encompass the following areas:
Course Sections
Section 1
The history of Virtual Reality and its evolution as a therapeutic device: This will cover all historical aspects of the technology and how it has been applied in a variety of disciplines. The concepts of mind body influence and, presence will be discussed.
Section 2
Virtual Reality as a therapeutic tool: This section will cover the developments of VR technologies in medicine and mental health.
Section 3
How to deliver a hypnotic session using virtual reality: This will cover familiarizing the client with the tools. The VR pre-induction talk, the induction process, deepening techniques, and post hypnotic suggestions.
Section 4
Best practices: This section will cover content usage and development. How to repurpose existing content for OCD, ADD, ADHD, PTSD, and Anxiety. It will also cover distraction therapy and VR pain management (analgesia).
Section 5
Working with children: This section will address working with children in Virtual Reality and the principles of gamification.
Section 6
Tools and Techniques: This section will cover the best VR gear and content and explore the most cost effective ways to incorporate Virtual Reality into your practice. The use and understanding of frequency application in your sessions will also be covered.
Testing
Certification test: VRH Certification is available to all Licensed mental health professionals. Categories include (listed alphabetically & non-inclusive):

Alternative practitioners (Hypnotherapists, EFT practitioners, NLP practitioners) with at least 50 hours of training in their discipline are also eligible (Testing will be administered for competency prior to certification).
